As part of our journey, we are looking for someone to take on the position as Process Engineer.
This is the role
You will refer to the Engineering Centre Manager and be a part of the Evaporation and Heat Exchange Engineering Centre, located in our office in Herlev.
The team is responsible for sizing and designing several different types of evaporators, condensers, vapor scrubbers and heat exchangers in general. Also, the team provides support internally for the development of new processes and complexes heat-recovery systems.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Develop tools to facilitate the daily routine, both process and mechanical-wise
- Document the design considerations of all equipment within the Engineering Centre competence
- Prepare design appraisals and give support to designers
- Stay up-to-date on the internal processes standards and ensure their correct use in the ERP system
- Understand and maintain cost-calculators taking into account executed projects
- Give support to sales, project and after sales teams
- Select and quote pumps, fans, valves and instruments in general
This is you
Professional Requirements
- Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer or similar background
- Ideally possess 2-5 years of experience. Recently graduated engineers with relevant experience from student assistant jobs are also welcome to apply.
- Possess a broad field of action, combining a good knowledge in thermodynamics and heat exchange with manufacturing processes and stress calculation
- Experienced user in Excel and CAD software
- Understanding on pumps and fans selection is valued, but not a must

- You understand the importance of performing your job in a very organized and well-documented manner
- You are a flexible person and can work on different projects and tasks at the same time
- You are a team member who is always open to learn new things as much as share your knowledge with the rest of the group
- Speaking and writing in English at a good level, as it's the primary language in this group
