Responsibilities
As the Head of Communications & Sustainability, your primary responsibilities are to drive and maintain the overall corporate communications in Toms Group. This includes managing both internal and external communications, ranging from crisis preparedness and press relations to stakeholder management and shaping Toms Group's identity.
You will have a key role in the organization and therefore you will be collaborating with many different internal stakeholders.
Your work tasks will also include:
- Supporting the development and communication of purpose, vision, values, overall company strategy, and a sense of "one Toms" cross borders.
- Ensuring transparent, efficient, and engaging strategy communication both internally and externally.
- Developing and executing the press and external communication strategy, including press releases, interview management, and handling incoming requests.
- Training and supporting the Toms Management Team in effective internal and external communication.
- Managing donations and Gerda & Victor B. Strand Fund meetings with regards to donation decisions, execution, and budget management.
Next to Communication, you will – together with the Sustainability Manager – be responsible for the continued execution and development of the overall vision and strategy for sustainability in Toms Group. This includes the annual non-financial report, driving the Group Sustainability Strategy, and managing cross-functional alignment within sustainability.
Who you are?
We're looking for a strategically minded communicator with a broad skill set, corporate understanding, and professional expertise. As an independent, yet collaborative problem-solver, you can drive progress at organizational levels and maintain a positive and professional approach in your interactions.
You possess leadership qualities, stakeholder management skills, and have experience in coaching and advising leadership teams, all while managing and developing your own team. You thrive on energy, curiosity, and a constant thirst for learning, especially in areas such as communication and sustainability.
You have strong communication skills, both written and in storytelling, proficient in Danish and English (with German as a bonus). Experience in project management, driven by a strategic mindset, enhance your qualifications.
You lead as an ambassador for our values, and nurture leadership and talent within your team.
