Center for Eating and feeding Disorders Research (CEDaR) is now hiring a project manager for the HALO-trial, a large randomized controlled trial testing high, medium and low intensity psychotherapies for Binge Eating Disorder at Mental Health Center Ballerup.

Research in eating disorders is a highly prioritized research area of the Mental Health Services in the Capital Region of Denmark, and you will meet a group of very committed colleagues. HALO-trial
The HALO trial deliver 4 different types and modes of psychotherapy from 2024-2026. The trial team will consist of a senior researcher, 1-2 PostDocs, 2 PhD students, masters students, clinicians and be led by the unit head Professor Nadia Micali.
This position
We are seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Project manager to join our research team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of this RCT. Your responsibilities will include administrative support to the trial team, recruitment coordination, task organization including oversight, tracking progress and delegating tasks, oversight of all research protocols and procedures, assistance with ethics amendments, progress reports for the funding body and assist with tasks related to the research clinic building, handling invoices, orders etc. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for participants, managing communications related to scheduling, including handling rebookings and cancellations—particularly during morning hours. You will work closely with senior staff in the project, and help execute new and existing tasks and procedures, ensuring that the trial runs as seamlessly as possible.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic research environment. You will work closely with researchers, clinicians, and other team members to help maintain progress, support participants, and keep the project on track. You will report directly to Anne Bryde Christensen (line manager) and Prof Nadia Micali (centre lead).
Qualifications
The candidate can flexibly manage administrative tasks, contact with participants, staff and stakeholders, and support the team.
The candidate should have following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in project management
- Experience working in research environments (preferred, but not essential)
- Fluency in Danish
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Be organized and self-directive
- Be able to manage different tasks and prioritize
- Have experience communicating with vulnerable populations
- Be able to plan and coordinate own tasks, keep overview and foresee coming tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has experience managing research projects in a clinical setting
- has worked on a randomized controlled trial or similar large study previously (Desirable)
- Experience working closely with senior staff and help execute new procedures and task management
- Experience writing and maintaining procedural descriptions
- Experience of working with ethics applications and data agency approvals
Conditions:
Salary, pension and other conditions of employment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) HK (Trade and office) or other relevant organisations.
The position is in accordance with best Danish labour practices, including a 37-hour work week, six weeks of paid vacation per annum, funded parental leave, matched pension contributions, enrolment in national healthcare, and labour union representation.
